UL982 5th Version, Motor-operated Household FoodPreparing Machines

家用电动食品调理机检测标准最新版本为第五版，新标准将于2006年4月6日生效。

标准主要对

 
1. 30.4.3 (修正) – 容器开口朝上之搅拌器或饮料搅拌器( blender or a blender-type drink mixer) 需附带有至少一个开孔的盖子．盖子上的开孔尺寸需介于2-5/8 英寸 (66.7 mm) 跟 1 英寸(25.4 mm)之间．
例外1. : 当此盖子有一个以上的开孔，且其中一个开孔位置靠近盖子的边缘且是设计用以倒出内容物，则此开孔可小于 1 英寸(25.4 mm)．
例外2. : 当此盖子有一个设计用以倒出内容物的开孔，则须进行44节之Blender Cover Opening Splash Test．
2. 70.2.1 (h) (新增) –当此盖子有一个以上的开孔，则70.2.1(f)须改为”When blending hot liquids, open orremove each non-pouring lid or cap, and close any edge cover openings intended for pouring.”
3. 70.17.1 (d) (新增) – 下列字句应加入果汁机或榨汁机(Juicers or Juice Extractors)之使用手册内:
a) “Always make sure juicer cover is clamped securely in place before motor is turned on. Do not unfasten clamps while juicer is in operation.”
b) “Be sure to turn switch to OFF position after each use of your juicer. Make sure the motor stops completely before disassembling.”
c) “Do not put your fingers or other objects into the juicer opening while it is in operation. If food becomes lodged in opening, use food pusher or another piece of fruit or vegetable to push it down. When this method is not possible turn the motor off and disassemble juicer to remove the remaining food.”
d) “Do not use the appliance if the rotating sieve is damaged.”
4. 60.4.1 Exception (修正) – 若在60.3之异常测试(马达转堵测试)中，异常状态可维持7小时以上，且60.3.2 (a), (b), 或(c) 中描述之状况并未发生，则此测试不须执行．
5. 44 Blender Cover Opening Splash Test(新增) –容器开口朝上之搅拌器或饮料搅拌器，其盖子有一个设计用以倒出内容物的开孔，则须进行此测试．
6. 50 Cut Strainer/Enclosure Stress Withstand Test (新增) – 附塑料框之刀具拉紧篮(cutter strainer basket with a plastic rim)的离心榨汁机需执行此测试．
7. 51 Operational Test Following Environmental Conditionings (新增) -附塑料框之刀具拉紧篮(cutter strainer basket with a plastic rim)的离心榨汁机需执行此测试．

UL817 11th Version, Cord sets and power supply cord

电源线组、电源线和插头的标准现已更新为第11版，并于2006年6月24日开始执行。故各位生产厂家尽快更新自己的UL档案，以免影响出货。标准标准变更的主要内容有

1. 安装于一般用途电源线组(Cord Sets)的沿线型/悬吊型开关(Through-Cord/

   Pendant Switch)，或用于电源线的沿线型开关，应符合UL20通用型开关标准

   (UL20, General-Use Snap Switches)的性能要求。对于AC/DC型开关而言，

   其电性等级不得低于“6A,120V-3A,250V”；而若为AC型开关，则不得低于

  “10A,120V AC”。
2. 季节性电源线组 (Seasonal-use Cord Sets) 所使用的过电流保护装置，

   应符合 SB 12.2 所规定的温度测试要求。
